Wham! Pow! Living in a crazy comic book world!

Those folks in the comics live in a bizarre, crazy world.   Let's take some looks into the weird, kooky reality of their universe.

Up today:  Art in Comic Book World

Now you must realize that in this comic book world, there are three rules that apply to all types of artwork.

Rule #1:  The safest art is always superhero art.  Whether painting, sculpting, or simply coloring a coloring book picture, it is usually best to do this of a superhero, preferably having him or her pose for the artwork.  Why?  See Rule #2.

Rule #2:  Most non-superhero art comes to life, and it is usually really, really scary.

Rule #3:  Rule #1 is not always correct.

Parents of budding artists try to encourage their children in their creations; however, they do so with strict oversight.

Daughter to Mom:  "Mom, I have an art project due next week.  What should I draw?"
Mom to Daughter:  "Daughter, probably someone like Supergirl or Amazing Woman.  Remember what happened to your cousin when he sketched that picture of a wolf?  I sure do miss that guy."

Rule #1: Safe superhero art

Rule #2: Scary coming-to-life non-superhero art

Rule #3: Superhero art can also sometimes be scary and come to life.
