Thoughts on Living in the jungle

Living in the jungle.  Well, at least that is what my yard looks like.  Although it is an ugly jungle with patches of high weeds up to my knees along with but a sampling of grass.  My neighbors yards are simply beautiful.   They spend a lot of time on them, and have various lawn services handle.  I, on the other hand, have not a hint of a green thumb.  Sometimes I have yard envy.

Everyone in the neighborhood has mowed a few times this Spring to date except for me.   Today was my day to mow.  I got up early this Saturday morning to tackle this task yet I am simply sitting here at the computer, sipping my coffee and watching the rain.  Yes, the clouds have decided to open up and dump water everywhere.  

Thus, the weeds are staying high and I expect to receive a notice from my home owners association any moment informing me that it is my responsibility to maintain my lawn.   Ahh well, maybe the sun will come out tomorrow.
